Welcome to the Metrolina Native American Association! Since our founding in 1975 we have been dedicated to preserving and promoting American Indian culture in the Charlotte area, including Mecklenburg, Union, Gaston, and surrounding counties. Through educational programs, cultural events, and community outreach initiatives, we strive to raise awareness and appreciation for our rich heritage. Join us in celebrating and honoring the traditions of American Indian people as we continue to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.
Who we are
MNAA seeks to build a relationship with the American Indian community & partners while incorporating the cultural and traditional practices of the tribal communities. Our objective will be accomplished by the following:
Building a Relation
* Promote unity and strength for the American Indian population with education and awareness Advocacy.
Provide residents residing in the * Metrolina service area with information and referral services.
* Obtain and administer funds to address the needs of the American Indian community.
* Close the education gap and increase the graduation rate for American Indian Students.
* Promote and support American Small Business.
* Bring awareness and close the gap in health disparities with programming.
